Welcome Aboard the El Patrón
Your Premier Sportfishing Charter in Long Beach!
As the sun rises over the horizon and casts its golden light upon the shimmering waters, there’s no better place to be than aboard the El Patrón. Located in the heart of Long Beach, we invite you to embark on an unforgettable sportfishing adventure that promises excitement, camaraderie, and a chance to connect with nature in a way that few experiences can match.
The El Patrón departs daily for Catalina Island or Santa Barbara Island, with two convenient schedules: from 5 AM to 5 PM or 5 AM to 7:30 PM during the summertime. We encourage you to check our schedule for confirmation. With a capacity limited to just 21 anglers, you can enjoy an intimate fishing experience where personalized attention is guaranteed.
Our vessel is equipped with 11 bunks available on a first-come, first-served basis, complete with air conditioning in the bunk room for your comfort. The El Patrón features a live well that can carry up to 50 full scoops of live bait, ensuring you’re well-equipped for a successful day on the water.
Currently, the El Patrón is undergoing a repower with a pair of 330 HP 6.7 Cummins engines, allowing us to cruise to the islands at speeds ranging from 10 knots to 11.5 knots, with a top speed of 18 knots. Our boat was refit at the beginning of 2023 with new sonar, a new bunk room, a new galley, and much more, including a new refrigerated seawater (RSW) system to keep your catch cool at around 36 degrees.
Owner and operator Christian Isaac has been involved with sportfishing since 2008, beginning his adventure on the New Del Mar out of Marina del Rey. With his extensive experience, you can trust that you’ll be in good hands.
For charter inquiries, please email Christian Isaac at charterelpatron@gmail.com. For our open party schedule and to book your spot, please visit our website at www.elpatroncharters.com.
